Hi Baldacci, I have rather mixedd feelings about this shot, yet it has something very appealing to it. Effectively, it's a very good photo, but I have a feeling it needs the finishing touch to really make it rock. I'll try to explain.
I like the compostion, with the line on the road on the left intersecting with the corner of the frame, but the line on the right falters a bit, IMO. I think the composition would've been a tad stronger if you'd either let the line on the right intersect with the lower right corner too, or would've given it a bit more clearance from that corner. Now, it's somewhere in between.
Secondly, The moodiness of the landscape is one of its strong points, but in it's contrast and saturation, I think you didn't quite manage to pull everything out of it; the image has much more potential than you show us here. I think increasing the contrast a bit would remove the flatness a bit, and might even revive the details in the far end of the landscape, as well ass make the clouds a bit more dramatic. Hope you see what I mean. It just needs a bit more effort, thats all. Other than that, I do think its a very good photo.
