About This is a rear entrance to our local airport. The scary thing is the runway is only 200 yards away!

Shawn, this photo cracks me up. You should post this in the humourous section also. Just another example of incompetence in our society.
The next picture should be showing who is blaming who for leaving it open.

Shawn, this is great. I love this kind of photo that is so strange in it's meanings. I'm always on the look out for these. They so explain the world in it's condition today. So much for my opinion, Thanks for sharing. B

Shawn, very good point you are making here. Perhapes you should take this photo to your local tv and newspapers, I bet that would change some things.
Lisa, I'll bet you couldn't even on that Marine base, let alone walk up to those black hawk helicopters now.

Interesting photo indeed and no I don't really think our airways are very safe at all. Trust me, I once visited a marine base where they kept all the black hawk helicopter and my dad, an ex-marine and I simply walked right into the hanger. Of course, that was a few years ago, but still. We were only stopped by one captain on duty. It was New Year's Day and the doors to the hanger were wide open. Great target for terrorists. It is a well-known base too.
