Gary: Actually, this is one of my favorite pictures. I love the way it looks, but do see your point about the depth of field. I have never attempted any depth of field in my pictures yet. I will try that someday. Thanks!

Gary: Thanks for your comment. However, because it is a pure white flower, I figured more light, which I would have had to use a flash (on or off camera) would wash/burn it out. (This was an indoor garden.) Is that what you meant?

detlef kalhm: The picture was taken with the camera in the shade and with lens hood on. The model was facing the shade, with a gold reflector to the right side of her face. I believe a large diffuser was called for on the hot spots behind her, but didn't have one. Thanks for the input.
