In a way, I sort of like the vine on the cats face. He is sitting there with an annoyed expression because of something on his head. And the white one maybe has an expression of being apprehensive about going out into the big world.
It works for me.

I love the green rock in the background.
If you had some software to edit out the hairs on the right eye it would improve his "Look" just a bit.
