About: I consider myself an advanced amateur photographer. I have been shooting sports for about 25 yrs and recently began trying portraits & people photography. I would like it to develop into a second career but time will tell, I won't quit the day job..... I welcome your comments and suggestions. I really wish folks would put more technical info on their photos, especially lighting notes/setups. I rarely retouch or digitally edit my shots, mainly because I just haven't learned the tricks yet (and when I learned photography years ago, my instructor told me it was much easier to get it right to begin with). I have used Cokin filters for years and enjoy using them for trying different things.
A virus killed my old computer so I now work on new computer which never goes online. Somehow, during the transfer to cd, loading into a second computer and the upload, for some reason a bit of clarity and sharpness is lost. Generally the shots posted are brighter and more vibrant on my original pc & prints.
