Another in my photo-art series. I took a silly picture of my sister-in-law, and tried to make her look like the monster in the closet. Light is shining through the slats in the louvered door, and she lays waiting for you to fall asleep...
Thanks very much for the kind words! I had a lot of fun doing this one, and it was sort of shocking to me that it was the first piece I sold! Everyone kept saying how off-putting it was.
Anyway, I used Photoshop to do it all. I layered textures, spliced in a new background, etc. I used Dodge, Burn, Lighten and Darken tools to make the lighting effects. It took some time to get it right, but I' pleased with the outcome, and really glad you are too! Thanks again GG! -d
Man, this is awesome. I cannot believe that you do not have any comments on this. This ligit shining through the door slats, the teeth and eyes are really done well. What software did you use to accomplish this wonderful shot?
