About	The Technique 1- Shoot a smoke of any kind using black background using your flash, here i used three candles and i cropped them. 2- Open your PS and perform color invert, now you have white background. 3- Create a new layer and from the mode drop down select "COLOR", then choose any color you want and use your brush to colorize your smoke by moving over each one of them. Enjoy

A nice study of shapes and colours - I'm getting some noise in the image but that is probably my screen or quality lost in uploading.
