Hello Aykaan
I dont see a great deal of difference in image quality. I have a 1Ds and the reason I bought the 5D was for its compact size and weight, much better for travel. The controls are easier to use on the 5D and the LCD screen is the best I've ever seen, far better than the 1Ds or even the 1Ds MkII.
