About
This is a tree that is quite common near Broome, I haven't found the name yet, but I like to think that the paired leaves look like butterflies, hence 'Tree of Butterflies'! This is one of my first attempts with macro using my old manual telephoto lens with my new digital Pentax SLR. ADDENDUM: I just found out the real name for this plant is 'Jigal Tree' (or, 'Mother-in-Law Tree'), in the local aboriginal culture, son-in-laws do not talk to mother-in-laws, so the paired leaves represent these two people with their backs to each other. Interesting!
