Wonderful evocative shot - I think the artificial lights on the right serve well to accentuate the cool and natural moonlight over the water. Best wishes, Jonathan

Hmadri, thank you for the comment and an interesting on it is. I did try to isolate just the moon and water, however the crop would have to be long and narrow. It might be interesting as a wall placement tho, Cary

great shot .... love the placement of moon )off centre) however i feel that the light house light is a bit distracting ..... u know if u look at just the water it looks like a ultrasound ... a great shot never the less

Dark but lots of interest to keep my eyes moving around the image. I love the reflection in the water. It has lovely textures and movement. I enjoy the red light and the moon is nicely diffused by the clouds. Very well done Cary. Cheers - Ann :)

hi,you may be thinking of this one: http://www.usefilm.com/image/569794.html
I used the darker toning and took advantage of the shadowing to give image an Old world appearance...good shootin'!

Hi Gayle, I have seen you try create that before? I am an old film guy and love that warm, soft look too, many times I try to recreate that effect, has a certain nostalgia to it, keep on shooting, Cary

hi there, this has a very haunting look...love the textural highlights on the water's surface... like how the slight diagonal line going to the red light leads my eye to the moon and back to the FG water....regards,gayle
(Thanks for com on my floral and what you said about an 1800's still life look was what i had in mind as i was trying to create an "Old world" look!)
