Very striking composition, very dynamic, and the colour contrast adds even more gain to it. The darker pines and firs (?) at the bottom ground the image very well.

Up, up and away. They do soar up to the sky, Don. Neat shot. Great perspective. Larry

Really like this shot Don colors are great and the perspective is perfect. I had always pictured birch trees as being shorter - until I took my first trip to northern AZ. Guess they grow tall because they are found so often intermingled with the fir trees that have denser foliage. Up there the poor birches have to stretch to reach the sunlight. Whatever the reason they are so tall - this is a great shot and really gives you the feeling that you are right there beside you surrounded by these beauties. Thanks for sharing this one. Jan

They are green for summer and turn in the fall. Sure don't last long. Maybe week to ten days. Thanks Don.

A gorgeous mix of colours and the steep angle emphasizes the height of these beautiful trees, Don.
Best regards, Chris
