About I just got my camera back from being repaired today. It's been gone for a couple of weeks. I was on my way to church and just had to pull over when I saw this sky. What a magnificent scene. Thank you Lord.

Thank you Ann. I should have mentioned, the star you see is the planet Venus. Lots of people beginning to burn leaves. Maybe the smoke in the air makes for prettier sunsets. I've heard that after a major volcanic eruption the entire world will have pretty sunsets for quite a while. I don't know. The clouds and the colors really struck me.

Lovely graduated colours and eerie dark whispy clouds. Thinking there must have been a fire somewhere to get a sky like this. Looks like there might have been smoke somewhere to mkae it so red. Love the moon and star. Good catch.
