Yes buddy, it is the original colors, there is nothing much done almost to enhance the image, maybe some noise removal and thats it, I had a hand held degradation filter, that I held in front of the lens,
This is why the sky is a little bet dark,
Beside that, what you see is what you get :) Glad you like it,

I think the UF committee are so busy or a little bit relaxed, this week hardly noticed any awards given, am not sure the reason for that! and recommendation is slowly relaxing too, few months ago I used to heat up ,so more people to suggest for the POD ,but again few of them remain!
Keep up a good work we are enjoying looking at it even little time for commenting though.

oh, ok, now I know what you mean, I have some of those in different shades including 'tobacco' which makes the sky look brownish and can be awesome for 1800's-looking old photography.
I thought you used it to affect the saturation of the colors because you answered it right next to that comment!! :-)

Hi Sam,
Yes buddy, the RAW doesn't have that, the raw picture is around 12MB in size, when resizing the picture and compressing it so it would fit the 360KB size that UF allow, it loses some of its quality, and this was the case.
The hand held degrading filter, is simpler a square peace of glass, that the top of it is shaded, and the shading degrades till it fades and there is no more shading at the middle and the bottom of the filter, you hold it in front of the lens, it covers the entire lens, and make the shaded part at the top, so the sky would look dark, this is mainly done when the sky is very shiny and you want to get a calm unoverexposed color.

Well this image is shot in RAW format, the noise in here is due to the compression, But the original file doesn't have any kind of noise :)

WOW!!! Stunning colors and I love the warped perspective of the wide angle lens. Really wonderful!! Did you push the saturation a lot?
Too bad you used a high asa equivalent and got such jpeg compression artifacts in the sky, but you can probably clean that up with photoshop if you ever wanted to print it.
