great! this is certainly a great shot, Darlene.
excellent sharpness and details of the bird and lovely smooth background. Maybe a natural perch, e.g. tree branch, would have made this even better .. but that's only a tiny thing.

hi, wonderful bluejay! i miss seeing them as in WA state we only have stellar jays which act more like aggressive crows....i grew up with cardinals,bluejays and fat robins....the clarity,details,dof and color are remarkable,Darlene!.....regards,gayle

The trees around here are full of them. When they nest, you can't go onto the back deck without one or more buzz-bombing and screaching at you. Real characters, everyone of them, but you've got to love 'em.
