City - Great Sand Dunes NP&P State - COLORADO Country - United States
About
Waves of light meet waves of water as Medano Creek in the Great Sand Dunes NP flows across the sands, effectively corraling the sands and bringing them back around, to be re-deposited onto the dunes. This natural recycling of sand prevents the dunes from forever blowing away.
Waw Mark, Aweson by all the means, you have a wnoderful portofilio, I don't how come you only got one award, Excellent capture dear and great amazing colors, very well done and keep up the good work, Regards,
Oh god, you are killing me... These are great shots, and all have the same wonderful complimentary color pallette of deep purples and intense red sunsets.
I'm glad to see a National Park where we overlapped - I knew if I kept watching our portfolios would hit eventually.
I'd have to say that your photos are really stunning "magic light" shots, definitely set up with deliberation, planning, and very time intensive. Definitely art photos.
On this one though, although the colors are truely stunning, the context of the strange juxtoposition of the sand dunes and their uniqueness in the Colorado plains did not come across - if you have another shot with the dunes against the landscape I'd love you see your interpretation.
Wonderful capture dear Mark! Excellent colors with impressive clarity... You've captured a great moment... Congrats and best wishes... Excellent (7/7)...
