Thanks Joanna, yes she is a good model - usually - even asking me to 'photo' her, but she does screw up her face sometimes when she is sick of the camera

Hi Bruce,YES! YES! the original is gorgeous:) it is fun to try out the different filters though.
Just catching my breath after a wonderful week onthe West Coast,will post something when i have a bit of time from sorting hundreds of images!!! Micky

I love the unfiltered image! There is something so innocent and sweet about her expression. I think it gets a little lost in the filter. Just my opinion. :)

Bruce you have lost the argument,tell Annette she has backup in NZ:)I think this style of filter is too harsh for such a delicate innocent child portrait,it would be more suited to a adult male as the effect is quite interesting. I would like to see this image without the filter. Micky
