Thank you for your kind comment and sincere opinion. The new image does not bother me any way, I think it is a valid way to you explain your sense, since we are talking about photography. Personally, the sky gives us some information about scale, tell us about the falls size. In this case, I think, it works to icrease the composition.
I really like this shot, I just think that a little less sky at the top would help. I'm sorry if editing it bothers you, plus I'm not that experienced so I can be wrong lol ignore me if you disagree
