Living here on the space coast I have heard the sonic booms many times, it's actually woke me up a few times (and I am a heavy sleeper too!) Just curious if you could see anything over the skies of Texas? I like the lighting here, a creative work! :)

Now all our prayers, so well expressed in your photo, Mark, have been answered and Discovery has landed safely. Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Back light" and "Composition in light." Best regards, Rafi

Clever idea. I like how the light illuminates the time left as if wishing all goes well. I'm viewing this after reentry and it did go well. ;-) I was keeping my fingers crossed. Mary
