I add the titles and borders to be different. I don't like the norm....some people will like them, some won't. I won't conform to others desires of how my work should be. But at the same token I admire anyone who tells me their opinion. That means so much more to me. And you did just that.

On the photo with the arm...I think it would be better to have zoned in on the girls face and the cat. The sharp angles of the arms distracts from the softness of the image.

Whoa.... I'm not sure where to begin. The dark, mysterious, muted colors? So unusual for this type of scene....yet so darned interesting!
The "frozen" action water? Just incredible. Almost like two different shots, welded together...background and foreground.
The lighting? Subtle. Understated. Again, very unusual for this type scene...and thus, sooo effective!
The mood? Despite the chaos, there is total quiet... almost like the noise would just be in the way anyhow.
I just, really like everything about this!
Well OK!!!! I'm not crazy about title blocks on photo's..... There! I said it!!
But Christ, Judi.....I love your work.

Thank you for your kind comments on my "Writing a ticket." About that photo I can tell you 1. I took the photo behind the from behind the policeman. 2. Later we entered a museum, in which cameras are prohibited and although I showed my Nikon Coolpix S1 to the guard who, like at any public event, searched our bags, he did not recognize it as a camera, probably thought it was a cellphone...
"Black devil", and "Tami and Koshka." Please tell me which arm in that photo you you find distracting and I'll see what I can do.

Water tubing :) For sure it is going crazy, i've tried it and it is more than amazing, your captured the beauty of it, and the fast shutter speed just shows the motion in it, the timing to was very nice, very well done, but why the sepia tones?!
