Great capture, i agree with this needing shadows, but still a nice capture!

It depends on the subject: I think that both landscapes and portraits have a better "3D" look with shadows... otherwise the shot may look too "plain" to me (in my opinion, of course!).
(please excuse me if my English is not that good)

interesting. I also like shadows and usally I am told to clone them out or use flash fill or what ever will work.
