Yes, I agree. I should have framed it better when I took the shot. It's funny because when I took the picture, in my head, the mast was closer to the edge of the frame. It goes to show you that you really need to look around.

Thank you for appreciating my comment and allowing me to view the image both ways. I can see the merits of both photos, but I think I am going to say that your original photo was the best. ;-) I'm afraid with the crop you lose too much of the beauty of the sunset and the richness of the darkening sky. Again, it is a very nicely done shot either way.

A beautiful scene and stunning sunset. I like the "tower" and wonder if this would have even more impact if it was cropped would follow the rule of thirds vertically with it being on the third line rather than so close to the center.
