I guess we have a similar eye for butterfly shots! I take some of mine in my yard and some at butterfly houses. I really love the butterfly houses because they provide a great opportunity to shoot a bunch of different types of butterflies that I wouldn't have access to otherwise. You have done very well with this little guy. Great details. :)

Forgot to mention, Aidan, I didn't use a flash at all - just 12:00 sun. The lighting was so harsh I'm surprised I got any good shots.

I was debating whether or not to get rid of that purple blotch... Grrr... (love your "Grrr..." photo, btw :)
I did a lot of stuff to this photo in PS. LOTS of stuff. The whole background was distracting.

Seen randy castillo when he played with ozzy , he was superb , forgot to mention my mate davy phoned me on my mobile from the gig to let me hear "home sweet home" its my favorite motley crue song by them , it sounded excellent !! good to hear from you mate .. cheers .. mark .

Wow! Very good. Great detail on the wings. Did you use fill-flash? Also, I like the background, interesting but not distracting. Well done :) Just one suggestion, try to PS out the purple bit in top right corner.

3 Motley Crue gigs?! Wow! My friend, Ricardo (http://www.ricardogriego.com) was really good friends with the former drummer of Motley and Ozzy (Randy Castillo), who was from Albuquerque. I know the guy who did Ricardo's website pretty well. He's been pretty busy lately though, so there's not much that been modified lately (dumping old management, etc.). Check him out, though - he's excellent. (especially "Suenos Moros" - "Moorish Dreams"!)
