Jon, I completely agree with you. Quite interesting solution with the wide frames and elevated contrast of the face. I think you found a great balance of everything in this portrait. The cropping is so perfect that the face almost has a three dimensional feel. I see something "sarcastic" in the expression of the eyes and the lips, which resonates very well with her "looking at the world from her own little window". Another interesting visual detail - the innermost frame is slightly shifted to the top, which to me adds an additional tiny splash of irregularity.
