I'm glad you like my portfolio Kevin - but they're all just lucky shots - I never leave the house/garden with my camera! Your portfolio is superb - this is one of my favourite photos. Thank you, Sally

This is terrific Kevin, fills the frame with interest, angles, colours, and it's how it takes the viewer on a straight line journey from the mountain track, down the pier and out into the sea which is so unusual. In fact the perspective makes the pier almost appear as if it is launching skywards. Simple, yet remarkable result. A wall hanger I'd say. Cheers, Ian

I really liked the first of these (without the trams) and I like this one even more, except for the boosted colours. At the risk of offending you, Kevin, I take the liberty of attaching a version in which I feel the vivid colours of the buildings and the subtle colours of the pier, beach and sea are in a better balance. Just a personal statement. I have no doubt which will be the more popular among viewers...

... and it shows the view very well indeed, Kevin.
Excellent perspective, with the tramlines leading the eye to the pier entrance, and then the pier taking the eye into the distance. It's a sweeping composition and a joy to look at.
Nice colours etc.
