Ok..I know this is a photography site and everything, but this is a painting I did. Art is a passion of mine, I love to paint! I am studying studio art in Florence, Italy this summer. I painted this at my 5th ever art class, and although it isn't perfect..I am very proud of it. I knew nothing about painting/drawing when I took the class, and I am still learning. You don?t have to thank me in any particular way. Your only due to me is to continue shooting. Florence is a fantastic place to practice photography. As for your trip to Italy, no problem, it?s my duty to help if needed. I?ve told you already that my Italian friend will be there for anything you?ll need, just ask for it. He is very kind and he was involved for years with international (Erasmus) students in UK where we were studying few years ago.

I had seen this picture in your site before but I couldn't imagine that it was your work. Anyway, it's both a beautiful painting (I love the colours) and a photo as well. I've told you already that you are talented artist and I'm sure that you'll get the most out of your trip to Italy. By the way, if you can't get photoshop for the moment (coz I know that people in the States use to buy software.!.), you can download the Gimp software for image processing, which is quite strong as Photoshop and totaly... free! It's an Open Source program if you know what does this mean. You can find it in... www.gimp.org
