just come to think of it, arif... if these kids are spending time in school, studying and investing for their minds and not begging for food in the streets, doin nothing at all... and if only their parents understand the importance of education... then one of them may be the next leader of this country. ...thanks for your comment, my friend! :)

When? When someone's willing to give them a chance... How? By providing them with good education, attitude and basic needs, off course... Why? erm.. because they deserve to be given the opportunity... Perfect questions to ask, Larry! Love it!

Great great picture. The kids look great (just minding their business, yet attent to their surroundings) and the staircase gives the picture a great effect, since you are talking about a "journey to the top" in the title. You have a great eye. Congratulations.

The craftsmanship on this image is superb. And though poor, these children look empowered. There is nothing wrong with wealth and being wealthy, but in my 40+ years of life, I've observed that it's more often the poor who have the purest of hearts, their faith the most sincere, and their integrity the most genuine.

Larry wonderful capture. I like the stairs behind the children. I think the one on the right should be a model look at that beautiful sulky moody face. The little one in the middle looks like he needs a bath some hot food and a hug. :-0) I love your images. Wonderful.

Great catch, The tones are good. I like that 2 kids look at the camera while the other 2 are busy with themselves It's shame that you cut the leg in the bottom. Ori.
