Mark - that is what happened. The camera was reading all the bright light to the left and underexposed the horses face some, not a lot, but I did need a little fill flash post editing. I think I set it around 30. That's all I did with this though. I think my frame is too heavy, it distracts me some.

Nice backlit scene. This is what I like about digital cameras...if you tried this same shot with film, the horse's face would've probably been lost in shadow. I like how the light skims off the side of the horse, and his face. And that white railing really finishes it off nicely.
