yes, Guido, I'm lucky to have the next be someplace I can get to without TOO much of a problem. I don't go there at all when mamma owl is around, although I'm dying to get a picture of her!!

Hi Alastair-- yes they are "ugly-cute". They are quite wild, and hiss loudly when I first approach the nest. Mamma owl comes by to feed them, but usually stays her distance when I'm there.

nice little owls,difficult to find around here,if so difficult to reach in church or castle tower.
Beware of the mother,she might attack you.
