Yeah thanks Amanda I guess with you guys seeing Dad's photo albums from the war you get an insight into how I feel about it particularly now he is gone.. I look around at kids who have NO CONCEPT of the notion of personal scarifice and I am glad that you are redressing the balance by teaching your little one early ... I was particularly disheartened to hear a girl on the radio this morning saying how much rubbish the Australians who attended the dawn service at ANZAC Cove yesterday left behind when they left great DOF too btw

I know exactly what you mean. Don't worry I was crying as I watched the march, so I didn't take too many photos, but I wanted to get a photo of Jenna admiring the men and women, who did and are still doing so much for us. ANZAC day needs to be remembered everyday, because as you said it is a very matter-of-fact like. I talk to my dad alot and sometimes it is what he is not saying that says it all...Thank you for your meaningful comment. Amanda

you have no idea what this day means to me... so much so that i still can't bring myself to go to the march,..... i don't think anyone can realise what these poor ' boy's ' went through and are still going through.... we take it all too matter-of-fact like.... thanks for a normal serious photo.....

Couldn't have said it better myself. It is such an emotional day for me. My dad fought in Vietnam and I always shed a tear full of pride on ANZAC day. Thank you! Amanda
