When I was a kid my grandfather had purchased a truck bed full of mulch. I asked him if I could ride in the back of the truck and sit in the mulch on the way back home. I decided to lay on my back and put my hands over my head in a inverted flying "Superman" position.
The feeling was as if I was flying! The sky was like the water and the cloud formations were the islands. I never forget that feeling. Every once in a while I'll be offered the opportunity to "fly" again and I quickly take it.
I saw the sky tonight and thought about that ride in the back of the truck and how it would look to fly through the fire and beauty...
