Yep, I was realy close to his eye when I took the shot..
You made the image a little more bright, I must say it makes the picture a little better.

Great picture.... the vulture has something majestic about him... he glances as if he's daring you to come close... I had to take a closer look at his eye to see if my assumption was right and it is. Take a look for yourself:
