You still have EV-correction to play with .. my experience with F717 and ND filters (in nightshot mode) is that you don't always need them .. now in the case of the F828 you should test it out to know.. Good luck !

yes, it should have, had it not been for the F828 that I am using. I'll get there though. I love your IR pics, specially the 1/60 dune/helmgrass ones (darker skies). Unfortunately I can only use 1/30 @ F2. Should I stack a Hoya25a on top of my IR filter to make background sky darker, risking the use of tripod doing so peter.

king regards

Today I stumbled upon a photographer from Cuba who is one of the few F828 pioneers in IR photography I saw so far doing well at 1/30, Jorge V. Gavilondo. Check him out:

Thanks for your work, peter.

That was made with Hoya R72 and ND 4/8 filters, in nightshot mode, Ralph
Postprocessing used :
For the reddish tone:
- Hue/saturation:
Green: saturation -100
Master: Hue -60, Saturation +50
- Auto levels
- USM (Amount +200) for contrast
- layer with Gaussian Blur blended in with
Screen, opacity 50% to bring out the whites
more.

Hope this helps you ?
Peter

Peter, I love the sepia in this. What approach in filters do you use here? (nightshot + B&W093 + N8/4) maybe?
Just curious as to how you gave it that reddish/sepia touch.
