It has the appearance of great motion caught in a time warp - great photo.

Nice shot Audra, I had a little fun with a flock of gulls myself last week. Great thing about digital. Take a hundred shots... 5 good ones... delete 95 No expense. Andre

Thank you! It was a surprise..I went with a friend to Lake Huron and there were just TONS of birds on the bank. If you throw bread down they will fly right at eye level..and they are pretty easy to capture that way..try it!

Grat shot, Audra. I love taking bird pics, and I envy you being able to capture this one in flight so well. I've tried many times and only managed to succeed a couple of times. Nothing as dramatic as this, though. Congratulations. B+W works really well, too. Cheers, Ann V.B.

The most feared creature in the Collingwood area, next to the Jackalope. Those cold heartless eyes, ever searching for another black car to bomb, chill me to the bone. Nice choice of B+W here. Just enough blurr in the wings to hint at motion, but it is the eye that makes this photo.
