About Travelling from El Gouna to Luxor on a tourist bus in February 2005. All the tourist busses have to travel to Luxor together in a convoy guarded by policemen.

Egyptians told us this safety procedure was established after gunmen attacked tourists at Luxor temple site in 1997.
