About photo of a monitor still, doing a montage on cocteau's orpheus back in 1989. printing was a task; it took for ever. especially uploaded for miguel angel since his image today was an inspiration that got me "digging" my archives to find jean marais sleeping the orphean sleep... (square crop in PS)

I have to admit that I wrote the comment waiting for your reply. It is an interesting point of view and I don't argue that you didn't work on it.
I ll think about your point of view. I needed this brainstorming.

Nice inspiration Kosti. I have always loved Jean Cocteau for both his film making and writing work. Still remains one of my favourite writer and ''Les enfantes terrible''my best novel ever. Great my friend!!!

I disagree thodori.
it is a monitor still; I stopped the video on this specific scene of the film orpheus by jean cocteau; I shot it, developed it and printed it; I burned in some areas, lighted others in the dark room; then after 16 years I scanned it and retouched it because it had dust on it; I cropped it to eliminate the monitor curves although I like them but I wanted a square image to stress the diagonal...
cocteau directed jean marais and filmed him. I saw the movie and captured it with my camera and uploaded it on usefilm.
I wrote on the about that this is a photograph of a still of a film.
my photograph; not even cocteaus'.
jean marais is definetely beautiful; to that, I see we agree dear friend :)

Amazing image but not yours. I don t agree that you publish it but just keep it for your archive. It is like if you scanned a photo with the scanner. I understand the rgb lines of th TV make it unique, but it is still someone else cropped image.
On the other hand though, thanks for showing us beautiful jean marais.
your friend
