The tourquise blue is caused by the Glaciers grinding up rocks into very small particles. There is a very nice effect over Lake Pukaki when there is low grey cloud. The vivid blue is reflected off the underside of the clouds. First time I saw this I thought someone had spiked my drink bottle. Regards John

yeah I know Jason, I went shopping for a new 19" flat screen today at lunch. If I cant get it right with that, I should retire from all this lol. Glad I'm inspiring you to pick up your cam, not the ususal act I inspire men to do ; )

Because off the minerals coming down with the molten glacier ice/water..... I've been there, seen it and nearly didn't believe it myself (but that was before I 'went digital' ;0). Great shot and super color!!! Well done!!
