the blue is cos of the ground up rocks from the glaciers called flour :) beautiful shot of a beautiful country, makes me wanna go back there

The tourquise blue is caused by the Glaciers grinding up rocks into very small particles. There is a very nice effect over Lake Pukaki when there is low grey cloud. The vivid blue is reflected off the underside of the clouds. First time I saw this I thought someone had spiked my drink bottle. Regards John

Because off the minerals coming down with the molten glacier ice/water..... I've been there, seen it and nearly didn't believe it myself (but that was before I 'went digital' ;0). Great shot and super color!!! Well done!!
