About Very inactive lately, this is the 1st
day I've taken any shots for 2005.

So the wife and I drove south 120km from
Brisbane yesterday afternoon, and found this little gem of a
place over the border on the far north coast of N.S.W., never been here before
and there appears to be plenty of photo
locations around the area, as a famous
American general said "I will return".
Very warm 31c today and after an hour of
shooting and the 1.75 hour drive back to
Brisbane I was knackered.

Great shot, excellent DOF, and good bright saturated colors/lighting.

Ian, I hope you got more shots of this location and will share them with us. I must warn you however, they will have to go some to beat this gorgeous photo. The clarity is superb and the greens and blues are just beautiful together.
Best wishes, Jimmy

Seeing this beautiful scenery, not only you wants to return there. It's a picture with great depth and excellent composition. In the last 4 weeks we got more than a meter of snow where I live, I need these views!

Hi Margaret

Thanks, I don't think it is a reed, some type of
palm, you might also notice some of the local
young people a good 200 meters out from an unpatroled beach just out of shot on the right,
you would not catch me swimming here, how would
you know there is not a shark nearby? Crazy me thinks.

Regards Ian

at a few landscapes here on usefilm, which I have
not done for a while.

Ian, you will have to stop talking about the temperatures ... expecting another snow storm here tonight lol

Beautiful landscape photograph, at least it is comforting to know it is warm and sunny somewhere at the moment L0L

Best wishes,
Steve
