cone shells; we used to hunt them (but had to be careful with them).

Thanks Warren. That is indeed reflection you see over the entire shell. The shell is very glossy so i went about shutting down all the lights one by one because you could clearly see their reflections in the shell. By the time I was done, to get the proper DOF required almost a 4 min. exposure. I'm glad you like the shot.

Very nice work indeed. Is that hint of reflection I see in the lighter part of the shell? Impressive work, I must say.
