Thanks for the comments Michael, the scanner idea sounds reasonable, I will have to try it out, gotta get some new flowers growing first and that will be a few months yet here. I hate to buy flowers, it just adds to the appreciation factor using home growns, CAry

Thanks very much for your positive comments James. I can appreciate your thought on the green and I went back and forth, with several options, this one seemed most natural in the feel of a heavy misty morning with the sun trying to geet through. I will, undoubtedly try other tones , thanks again, CAry

The moment I saw the thumbnail I knew it was one of yours Cary! Unmistakable style you have, very unique. With this one I think the pinks are great but not sure about the greenish colour around the point of light but thats just a personal bias against the colour green. I love the way the flower appears to be illumnated from within as if it was alive and the droplets of water look superb with the effect you have created. Top work once again.

At first glace at the thumb nail I thought this was a star fish as well as the one next to but upon looking at the thumbnail closer I realized what it was. Great work. You mentioned you would like to discover the new technology you should try laying some flowers down on a flat bed scanner and see what you get... scan them at a high res and print them out I bet they would look amazing.

Hi Kiny, thnaks for visiting all the way from Australia, must be mid day there, I'm going to be late. Thanks for your nice comment. This is a flower from my garden that got some special treatment. If you look in my portfolio and look at my commnent in the image "Valentine on Ice" you will find an explanation of the procedure I take, not every one is the same, but you will get the idea. Visit again any time soon, CAry
