Located in Tanjung Pura City, 60 km form Medan or 38 km from Binjai. It takes 1,5 hour from Medan or 1 hour from binjai to get there. Azizi Mosque was built by Sultan Abdul Aiziz (Langkat Sultan) in 1902. The mosque is 24.000 m2 and costed M$ 200.000, not included the development of the tower of the mosque. On the left side of the mosque there are graves of Sultan Abdul Aziz and family.
Azizi mosque has beautiful architechture and ellegant Paris mosaic. Enchanted by the beauty, Sultan Kedah (Malaysia) built the duplicate of the mosque in Alor Star city, Kedah, Malaysia.
