Hi Michael;-- backgrounds huh?
the lines, colors, textures, and especially the exciting lighting make this almost a very interesting photo as is, but I think you're right, it seems to need some kind of subject or focal point.
But on 2nd look, this could look nice as an abstract in a gallery.
you'll probably be surprised to hear from me-- just haven't been to active here for awhile-- dreary weather and uninspiring, ie no good storms even. Right now, I'm scanning a lot of my old slide collection-- looking for the gems, and it's very time consumming.

I tried to mean they look like gun shots..
I saw a bullet while it was biting an apple and that capturing was like your clouds..
In the meantime, you know I love nature:) I do not like guns..
