Thanks Jurgen

This was taken in 2003. I don't know if you read through the comments so here's some additional info:

These boats are the descendants of the old river boats that traveled the Ohio & Mississippi rivers
They are actually floating hotels kind of mini cruise ships. Every three years Cincinnati has a festival called Tall Stacks where 30 or so of these boats come to town. About 1 million people came to the festival last year

Great capture, Larry. Our boat was much smaller than these are.

Your picture is obviously a contemporary capture, but I like how the picture (plus frame) gives it a little the impression of a picture from times past.

Larry--oh, yeah! And when it's your picture, it's your opinion that counts . . .

Thanks George
I've been officially admonished

However...the border fits the theme (my Opinion)

..ps I didn't know there are ebirnder police...are they associated with the tilt folks?

This is a wonderful iconic image. The colors and tonalities are just about perfect. Now--about the edge treatment--a simple border might fit the traditional character of the scene a bit better (and this from someone who is often criticized in the same vein ;-).

Best wishes,
--george
