This was taken in 2003. I don't know if you read through the comments so here's some additional info:
These boats are the descendants of the old river boats that traveled the Ohio & Mississippi rivers They are actually floating hotels kind of mini cruise ships. Every three years Cincinnati has a festival called Tall Stacks where 30 or so of these boats come to town. About 1 million people came to the festival last year

Great capture, Larry. Our boat was much smaller than these are.
Your picture is obviously a contemporary capture, but I like how the picture (plus frame) gives it a little the impression of a picture from times past.

This is a wonderful iconic image. The colors and tonalities are just about perfect. Now--about the edge treatment--a simple border might fit the traditional character of the scene a bit better (and this from someone who is often criticized in the same vein ;-). Best wishes, --george
