This was taken from the Nagogasuku ruins on the far north side of the island of Okinawa. The "hotel" is the half finished building at the top of the photo. Legend has it that the construction crew quit working on it because the ghosts were so frightening. It is also said that if one was to enter the "hotel" they would see where the construction workers just left their lunches and flashlights and sleeping mats, making it reasonable to believe that they left in a hurry.
I thought it was an interesting story. And a nice place to capture this subject of one of the many haunting stories of Okinawa.
Great story and photo.. can you get to the hotel... I would have to go look to see if the lunches and sleeping mats are really there... I wish you would have zoomed in on it for a closer look.. good shot anyway. K
Very nice composition, like how the ruins are complimented by the tree branch. They say that ghosts show up on film as mist and orbs, I seen it, don't know if I believe it.
