Here were the settings on that day: Nikon D70, 50mm f/1.8D lens (aka, the best value $99 Nikon lens) 1/40 sec,f/3.2,ISO400 The light bulb was an incandescent one, but I had the camera on Auto WB because I was walking in and out of daylight and the inside market. Actually I took 3 shots, the other 2 were without the light. It turns out that I liked the one with the light in it from a mood perspective and discarded the others.
I really like how you have used depth of field in this picture to make the newspaper out of focus. I am curious about the lighting. Was this an incandesent light bulb? If so, your white balance is calibrated very well. Joanna
