About	This cactus was/is about 4 feet tall..I called the capture "dont pick the flowers" as a joke..there didnt appear to be one square inch of this plant that a person could have gotten a hand on..without wishing they hadnt..i intend to go back and find it in the spring...im very curious as to what kind of bloom will come from it...

Rex,
Nice crisp capture of the cactus. Looks very prickly! One thought...you might try shooting at f3.5 (or lower if you have another lense that is faster than your 18-55mm) to blur the background a bit more. I think it would help the cactus really stand out nicely.
