Hi Frank, a gruesome, but fantastically powerful image. The carcass of the windmill against the sky is just awesome. A very sad story to see the Dutch heritidge crumble down to ashes. Nonetheless a top Notch shot. Another solution might be to zoom in a bit more, which would focus the view more on the burned down mill, but that's a matter of choice, and rather unimportant here.

when I think of windmills there is a sense of eternity to them. I think every picture I have ever seen has been a shot of them, in historically perfect condition to add to it. This is the first time I've ever seen one departed. thank you
