Lovely picture Pat with the 'S' shape of the river and the warm colour of the grasses. Think though the light was against you. A little late afternoon sunlight would have made this a magic picture. 7++ Regards, Graham.

Thanks Rebecca, I did some PS, darkend around the edges and some unsharpe mask. I don't think they are the same James River as this one empties into the Missouri River in South Dakota. However it too is normally not this blue. At the time of this photo this part of the river was coverd with a three inch layer of ice.

Beautiful perspective here, Pat, and lovely, saturated colors. Did you do any PS adjustments to this? I've not shot slides in 20 years. I can't remember much about how the colors came out. I know they were truer colors, but the James here doesn't look blue. It looks muddy :(
