Location City -  Pompeii
State -
Country - Italy   Italy
About The city of Pompeii was covered by ash from the explosion of Mount Versuvius. The whole city was incredibly well preserved and the streets have a very haunting feel to them.
Here you can still see the ruts left behind by the carriages and chariots that traveled over them. The tree stones on the road were used as cross-walks when there was mud/water so as not to get dirty.

You may see some of my captures... of what you yourself may have seen...

well documented, but suggest that the capture needs some slight tweaking of the levels...

this is a lovely place. if you think that the stone in the middle of the road were pedestrian crossing during the raining days.
the b/w works very well, just a minor remark is to have a bit more depth of field.
