About Just another feather shot. This feather had been thrown into the air, to go into the water. I have a friend in critical condition in an intensive care unit. As I tossed this feather, I said " God, I'm leaving this burden to you, it's too much for me to carry alone right now". Then it landed in this grass..and glistened. My heart feels lighter already. Brightness and contrast adjustment.

This is spectacular Rebecca. The detail and clarity of the feather and water drops is superb. The golden sunlit branches are an excellent backdrop.

Rebecca, Thank you for your comment on "Lizard King" I guess you talked some of those white ducks out of a feather or two. I like the contrast in textures and in color. Gorgeous!

Beautifully done, Rebecca, with a wonderful prayer. May yours prayers be answered.

"Soft as the voice of an angel,
Breathing a lesson unheard,
Hope with a gentle persuasion
Whispers her comforting word:
Wait till the darkness is over,
Wait till the tempest is done,
Hope for the sunshine tomorrow,
After the shower is gone."

"Whispering hope, oh how welcome thy voice,
Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice"

A verse from the song Whispering Hope. Somehow your feather to the wind reminded me of this song.

Incredibly beautiful. Both the photo and the thoughts. Those are wonderful little water spots on the feather. This leaves me speechless. Or wordless.
