Well I guess the rider wasnt thinking of esthetics at the time. It was one of those moments where i wished i had a better/faster camera, while the mules were going slow, the hairpin turns meant they were out of site very quickly. cb

great shot, coral. I love how the red blankets on the mules blend in so beautifully with the surrounding landscape but how the person's yellow jacket sceams anything but blending! I guess it's helpful if they get lost, but it does seem to say something about how so many people move through the natural world!

yeah i have one photo where i raised my arm to take a pic and the back end of the last mule almost went over the edge. I felt kind of dumb for being such a "tourist" Also, the path was covered in green dung, slushy snow and red mud, hmm lovely cb

Heh, one quick kick and you'd be back @ the bottom of the gorge..guess the good thing about that is that you wouldn't need to come back up after. Joking aside this is a good compositon with a interesting subject matter.
